[my fast five on look see]

Today, the lovely Naomi Fenton featured a fast five interview with me on her blog, Look See!
I was completely touched when she asked me to take part.
I have followed her blog since I began blogging myself.  Her photographs are so beautiful and have certainly helped to reinforce my desire to explore every inch of Tasmania.
Thanks again Naomi for allowing me share a little about me with your readers.

[ode to red]

And so ends the first week of my interior design course.
It's been a pleasant change waking up and feeling excited about the day ahead.
Monday's for me are all about colour so before kicking off week two of my creative new journey, here's a little ode to red...
Does this bold, excitable colour feature in your home?

[highgate house - my wonderful week of work experience]

This week I was fortunate enough to spend time at Highgate House for work experience!
Interior designer Leigh Boswell and her creative team were so welcoming and kindly involved me in their busy days!
I did stocktake, sorted, tidied, coffee-d, chose fabrics and trims, unpacked, repacked and restyled to my little heart's content.  It was wonderful!

My experience there reaffirmed my decision to change career paths and enter the creative world of interior design.  It has made me so very excited for the study I have ahead of me (which incidentally begins on Monday!)
Exciting, colourful, aesthetic challenges are awaiting and I'm so excited to meet them!

For more information on Highgate House, see here, and follow their beautiful feed on Instagram @highgatehouse.
